Natural characteristics of solid wood
Solid wood naturally moves with humidity
Kiln drying greatly reduces the risk of cracking, warping, and twisting,
but natural wood can still expand or contract slightly as humidity changes.
The surface can develop scratches or dents
Suar is a medium-hard wood, so we recommend avoiding dragging sharp
or heavy objects directly across the surface.
Large slabs can be heavy
Thick slabs require suitable table legs or support structures,
and larger pieces may need more than one person to move safely.
Simply wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it afterward. Avoid standing water, very hot objects, and sharp items directly on the surface to help keep the wood looking beautiful for years.

Questions Before Ordering a Wood Slab
The listed price includes a single Suar wood slab that has been kiln-dried, cut to size, sanded, and finished. The slab is ready to use as a tabletop or for furniture making. The price is for the wood top only and does not include table legs. Wooden or steel legs are available separately.
Blue Sea Wood slabs are kiln-dried to reduce moisture before production and finishing. This greatly reduces the risk of shrinkage, cracking, warping, and twisting after installation. However, solid wood is a natural material and can still move slightly as temperature and humidity change.
Yes. Every Suar wood slab has its own grain, color, shape, and natural edge. Tell us the size you need and we will check suitable slabs in stock and send you photos of the actual wood to choose from before production begins.
Yes. The sizes shown in the price table are reference sizes that are commonly ordered. Because each solid wood slab is naturally different, available widths and dimensions vary. If you need a custom size, send us your required width × length × thickness. We will check our current stock and show you suitable slabs.
After you choose your slab and confirm the size, a 50% deposit is required to begin production. The remaining balance can be paid before shipping or by cash on delivery. Production normally takes around 14 days for wood that is ready for production, although timing may vary depending on slab size, stock availability, and kiln-drying requirements. Nationwide delivery is free for slabs up to 2 meters long. Please contact us for shipping costs for slabs longer than 2 meters.
